Looking for ideas

Hello,

I have a 250K plus miles 89LX AT Carb Car that I would like to update/mod instead of buying a new car.

Right now it is going just fine no worries yet.. But wheel bearings are starting to get a little loud and other than a high idle once and a while everything works with very little rust.

With the vacum hose nightmare under the hood I was wondering if there was a carb replacement out that elimnated most of those hoses?? Weber?

Anyway I love driving it and want to keep it going..

First suggestion: Get familiar with how to use things here. Learn to use the search function. Start reading. That will keep you busy for quite a while. There's loads of stuff on Weber conversions.

Weber conversions, vacuum removals etc. Many things you can do that have been well documented on the site.
