what r the gear differences in the 2?

Nope.

The only transmissions that will bolt up to your Accord are:
- other 86-89 Accords
- 83-87 Preludes

These cars use a sort of uncommon engine, unlike Civics/Integras/later Accords that shared more parts. If you use a Prelude transmission, either the 2.0 or the 1.8-liter will work but the 1.8 requires a different flywheel, I think.

you can take the internals out of the 1st gen teg but it must go into the accords bellhouseing, you should probably search a little before asking these noobish questions
