Requesting pics of wide wheelarches or widebody.

So, I searched, ended up with a lot of broken links and OT talk.
I'm thinking of widening my 3geez wheelarches, but I have no idea how it would look. Or are there some oem widebody kits?

So, don't punch me in the face if this is a repost, I'm just wondering.

Thanks! That's interesting, but not exactly what I was looking for.
    Anybody got some widened wheelarches?

I guarantee no one on here has them. Your best bet is to have someone pull & roll the fenders. The aftermarket support is a slow trickle. you may just have to do a custom job. Don't know but have you looked at fender flares?? Why do you need to widen then in the first place??

I cant think of anyone besides L3G10N who has done something similar to what you're looking for. And he has only done a moderate widening.
I'm guessing what you're wanting to do is the typical "german" style fenders? I was very hooked on doing that at one point but decided against it in the end.
You have to either hand make wide fender pieces or adapt some from another car and then adapt your bumpers/side moldings accordingly. There are no widebody kits. Or you can be ghetto and use glued or riveted flares.

    Here's L3G10N's:

Thanks. The ones that L3G10N has, are a bit too smooth, or at least they seem so. I like the little corners on the stock wheel arches and I'd like to keep them.
I'm looking for something like this http://pajalle.com/howto.php?id=003&lang=fi

And why I'd like to do something like this? To get a better stance. Widening the wheel arches + some spacers + low = killer stance Aerodeck.

Someone here in Estonia welded some Golf Mk2 front fender arches to the rear of an Aerodeck and put the Golf fender flares on them too. At least that's what I was told, never seen the car in person. And I don't seem to find any pics any more too.

And I found one with widened arches on our local carrating.org. http://www.carrating.org/car.php?4536 At least I think that it has widened arches.

sheesh that aerodeck does not look good, but you're right the fenders are widened.

The corrado fenders in your first link is a fairly easy and good way of doing it because you keep the most of the original design.
