i do get a lot of stuff like "get a newer car" but i also do get a lot of positive comments. some people are able to respect that i am trying to do something that not many other poeple are doing, and they respect the age of the car.

I guess some people are just jealous because their cars aren't as good as ours. I think our cars are fine the way they are.

um...i would think that more people would take inspiration from that, unless your 3gee is some ricey POS..i mean even though the 3rd gen accord is far from one of my fav cars, if i had a nicely modded 88 or 89 (i have no respect for the 110 hp 86-87 lxi's) i would just happily continue toastin almost all of these bullshit civics runnin around with neon winshield washer LED's and leopard skin steering wheel covers....i would much rather have a 89 accord lxi coupe or se-i coupe over a 92-95 civic any day of the week...so some1 learn sumthyn from this and go remove a neon from your car

Heres the problem, despite our interests to tune our cars, the 89 accord is still that car. Ya know that one that the duude down the streeet has that is rusted up and all messed up. Thats the way that old school is, theres beat ones and good ones. Also our cars have the reputation for being wannable ricer cars, ie neon shit and windshhield led jaunts. F that. my .02
