Hey, I'm from WA state and I just got a 1988 Honda Accord Coupe. 208k miles. It's a bit of a fixer upper since it was totalled, rebuilt, totalled again, and rebuilt again. All the damage was done to the driver side and it needs a wheel bearing, a suspension alignment, and possibly new suspension components. And over time, the radiator has developed a small leak in the top. the car doesn't overheat, but it makes a small sprinkler of coolant once the engine warms up. The interior is in awesome shape, tho. It has a CD player with decent sound quality. The best part of the whole thing? The car was absolutely FREE! I got it from a long-lost family member.
My first impressions when I drove it were focused on the damage in the suspension and the effects it had on driving (the alignment was never touched after the second wreck). It pulls to the left and it's harder to turn right than it is to turn left. Plus, it eats up driver side tires. But once I got used to all of it's little quirks, it was pretty nice. I drove a turbo'd subaru GL before this and I forgot how nice it is when you don't have to wait for turbo lag. The little inline 4 is a lot peppier than I had imagined.
Pics will come when I can get a hold of a camera. At the moment, I lost my camera and my fiance's camera isn't working.
