Should I part out my 3G?

I'm considering parting out my 3G. The one I have needs quit a bit of work, and I would rather have a LX-i or SE-i in white with less (or no!) rust. Do you guys think I could get at least $400 from parting it out? Here are some pics. I love the 3G but this one is just not what I want. A white LX-i with a 5 speed so I could eventually do a H22 or a JDM DOHC B16A VTEC. Just not sure how much 3G parts are worth.

Part it out for a while, but don't expect to get too much from it. I got about $400 from parting it out and $200 for the rest of the [totaled] car, and I still have some good parts to sell.

Do you guys think that rust is repairable? Body work that needs to be done besides paint is: replace right front fender and turn signal housing, hood is dented by head light (right side), bumper is scratched and cracked a little under head light (looks like someone backed into is) and trunk has dent near the back up light on driver side.

Me wants a white 3G LX-i. My goal is to have LX-i, white, shaved emblems except red JDM H emblems, tinted windows (not sure how dark yet), and a set of Rota slipstreams. As far as exterior goes anyway, then beef up the pads and add a decent head unit and daily it. This car is gonna take lots of money to get it to that point.

Go for it. If you would prefer to start from a nicer car, it will probably cost just as much because the actual car is going to cost more. It will probably be less work, though.

Might have a hook up on getting the clutch done by a tech for cheap. He works at a shop and takes cares in to make cash on the side on the weekends. Gonna do the master cylinder this weekend I think. So many options with this car I can't decide!

Good advice. I'll make it driveable and push it around until I find a LX-i that is in decent shape and rust free.
