No clue why my lighter doesnt work... Any ideas ..?
What all should i look for to find out what the problem is. I changed it once and it didnt work.

What all should i look for to find out what the problem is. I changed it once and it didnt work.
Check for battery voltage at the lighter. Check your fuses. If that's allgood, check your wiring.
yep make sure the wire going to it is getting 12 volts if thats all gravy then replace the lighter and socket... can be bought for about $5-$10 at your local Wal*Mart.

Check any grounds or grounding area too. Corroded grounds can jack it all up.
You shouldn't smoke. Problem solved. Unless you're using it for electronics.

Unfortunatly i dont have a meater . SHAZBOT .
But i do have a lighter that i snook from the JY.
I guess il have to throw it on there instead of talkin about it on here.

Yea Chuck i need it for my phone. Have drivin with it dead a couple times. Pain in the hole.

eh i hate using mine...but mine was just a blown fuse in the engine bay fuse box...You shouldn't smoke. Problem solved. Unless you're using it for electronics.
