Did the coupes come with the power door lock option, I really would like to convert over to power door locks. So I can put in a keyless entry.

I believe thy have the same problem as hatch doors, don't quote me on it, the latch mechanism is identical to the sedan, but there's a missing notch in the door beam,so the motor won't fit. the lock motor bolts right to the latch like factory, but won't fit.
I honestly don't remember if our sei coupe had them or not, but u might be able to make the 4th gen coupe power locks work.. if not then you could get those after market ones for like $15 bucks off egay

I'm sure the 4th gen ones are very close to the third generation ones. the lock motor attaches directly to the door latch with three screws. there is a notch built into the inner door beam to give clearance for the motor. this notch is whats missing on the hatchbacks and coupes too I believe. you can get those universal push pull actuators on ebay

ya the after market ones will work and you can add then to any alarm system that has power door lock addon
Coupes and hatches never got power locks, and I think Mike told me that you have to go aftermarket.
