IDK right now...I should knowby tomorrow night...I'm going to finish replacing the timing belt. And then I'm going to replace cylinder 1's fuel injector. If its still happening I'll be completely stumped cause Then I would have ran threw everything everyone had said...I think.

    Re: Mean Lawnmower?

well....shes still running bad. I haven't been able to get the fuel injectors like I wanted yet...

    But I had another question.

okay while driving today..*to waste some time*. when I push hard on the throttle she goes, but has less power then when I push halfway on the throttle...and she sounds like she sputters a bit when I go full open.

As well I noticed even when I half throttle her. she kind jults a little bit every now and then while accelerating...

Any good Ideas of what can cause these issues? *besides my fuel injectors, which I already know I need to replace along with the fuel filter.*

fuel filter sounds like that problem mixed with the injectors lol, my civic had similer problems and it was fuel filter (except the lawn mower sound you have thats from the injector :p)

seriously man just go to the junkyard and throw some injectors in your pocket wont take more then 10 minutes of your time

Okay. how would I release the pressure if I don't have power to the car.

Or does that really even matter for one in the junkyard.

*BTW I just remove the fuel rail right?*

dont need to release pressure lol i never have , if it is pressurized a little bit of fuel leaks out doesent hurt anything unless the engine is hot lol, and yes just the 10mm nuts on the fuel rail

okay cool. I was going to pocket a fuel filter as well. But then I saw I can get em for like 15$, so not worth it, just get a new one when I get paid. :P

Where is your timing set at? Have you tried advancing it any to see if it helps.

I would almost guarantee your timing belt is off a tooth or 2 still. Its very easy to do. If it is the compression of the motor will be lower and you'll loose power.

shes been running bad for about a week after I got her. and I felt the car run better after the timing belt..so I think its set right.

But I'm picking up the fuel injectors when I go back to the junk yard today. so I'll see if that helps any.
