    CUSTOM Crx lip completed! Pics.....

    I finally finished my crx lip. It took me a total of 8 hours. If you guys are going to buy a crx lip...you HAVE to buy 2 extra corners, or you end up doing what I did, custom making them from the original corners out of a fiberglass mold. The thing is built like a tank on the seams. On the back it is reinforced with fiberglass and matting. On the front it is reinforced the same way, only smoothed with lightweight bondo. (yes, it does stick to plastic if its prepped right). The corners are extended strictly from fiberglass and bondo. I had no other way to do it...check out the pics and you will understand. Considering how shitty of a situation I was in, I thought it turned out DAMN well.




    This is the pic of the mold that I had to make..it didnt have to be that precise..but it came out hard as a rock.
