damn how you do that....i put some PB and let it get in there i got on top of the motor nad had my knee on intake and valve and got a vise grip then pulled straight up...man what that a bitch lol...she came out after a good 10 minutes of pulling...idk you might have to get the whole hose setup..which is pricey

the flared end of the pcv valve is still in the intake manifold but it fell down in there,
is the pcv valve is on top of the intake manifold?
Is it FI? If it's carburated, don't worry about it! Same thing happened to me about 2 months ago and it dropped alot of pieces into the manifold, but apparently the manifold right under the PCV has like some sort of storage area type deal and it won't carry anything into the engine (This is what some ASE mechanic told me, and he's a wiz with carb'd vehicles)
this lil pos
Try a shop vac with a hose on the to fit the hole.worth a shot.
dont have a shop vac, i dont think that would work, is there a thread on removal of manifold?
oh sweet 3geezus, all this ruckus over a 2 dollar part
Any vacuum cleaner with a hose should work. Give it a shot, I mean, it's free after all.
I doubt it would do any damage.
There is a breather chamber under the pcv hose.

with 9,000 post i more than beleive you, but if a peice of plastic was to block the pcv valve what would happen?
I believe your car would run like crap if the PCV was blocked
lol, me too, what would you do?
i feel stupid for this happening, but it always turns out this wat when i do something simple like this,
fuel filter for example-went to pull it off, tore the fuel line, took two days
I wouldnt worry about it, I doubt anything is going to get sucked up, and besides if it did it it would be stuck to the PCV valve with the engine on.
i'm not worried about anything being sucked up, im worried about crank ventilation being blocked
here's a exploded view of the PCV system, you can see the chamber carotman mentioned, the box is baffled so so that nothing can get drawn into the system .
You could always remove the box and clean it out

well from wut i know, if the pcv valve is block or clogged it would cause rough idle, ur oil dip stick would be popped out of the oil dip stick tube and it would cause an oil if it is hella blocked. PCV stands for Positive Crankcase Valve and its job is to allow blow-by gases dat escape from the combustion chamber down da piston rings and into da crankcaseto be re burned. the PCV allows the blow-by gases dat is in da crankcase to be re burned by sending the gases through the pcv and back into the intake manifold. (how do i know dis, i'm taking engine repair class at skool and dismantling 2.3 z-tec from a 05 ford focus)
it dont this its clogging it is just broken in there...so just having it unplug wouldnt hurt anything.

unrelated question, you told me there is a rubber insert for the rear brake light, i still havn't found one, can you take a pic of yours? i have never seen one, even on other driving 3gs
