Hey, i was wondering if anyone has ever tried to put a turbo kit onto a carbureted A20 engine. Its in my 1989 Honda accord LX. please let me know if anyones tried it and how it worked out. Trying to figure out if its worth the work.

It's really hard to have Turbo and Carburetor in the same car... I was kicking around the idea of Turbo propane draw-through. Lots of people do it on 4x4's, but I haven't seen a tuner on pane.
Bass like Base... Not fish.
If you go on ebay and put in (weber hat) in the search results you will see a turbo hat that they make that you can bolt on the top of your carb then you will need a turbo manifold and turbo but of course you will need to set your carb up for turbo or or get one set up for turbo.
Man... Without the best gaskets and a brand new Weber, it would scare me to death to blow-through a Weber. You get a leaky base gasket and you start spraying gas and air out that looks like a mist, then it hits something hot... Holy crap.

the best you can do if you want to go turbo, do a EFi conversion. it will be way easyer in the end.

you can run a stand alone system, apexi for example. simple. but if you want real tuning then yes, OBD1 is a must.
