At least you bought one...^Im Using Tims torque wrench lol. I have one but its like 100000 years old and isnt super accurate since its a needle lol.

The needle and beam ones are actually pretty accurate. Only problem is that you have to stop it yourself lol.

Lol nah he had it before he went broke lol. But it sure does make assembly easier/faster. With the needle and dial one Id be torquing bolts for hours lol.

I returned the needle one i bought monday. Was just way to big, and wasn't ratcheting. SUCKED.

i bought one online and it does well, i checked it with other ones like a dial, and another click stop, all three are almost exactly the same, i only spent 40 on mine... digital would be much nicer though...

Broke my BRAND NEW 1/2" ratchet trying to get the fucking axle nut off. Guess the last asshole that put it on put a tad more than 136 FT-LBS on there....At least i can return the ratchet. Guess its going to be a job for air tools...

but seriously a 1/2" ratchet? how and where do you think you're going to get 136ft-lbs of torque out of that? is it the standard guy that's like 12" long or a longer one? i use a 36" 1/2 breaker bar that i got at autozone, it's a great neck with the big ass rubber handle, cost like 30... it's one of the best things i've ever bought at autozone in my life! it gets the crank pulley bolt off with ease if i have someone to step on the brake.

I had a long pipe on the end of it (4'), had my girlfriend standing on the brakes, and was STILL moving the car. Until i thought i broke the nut loose, which was really just the ratchet snapping LOL. The axle is only 2 years old

Ive broken 3 Craftsman breaker bars on axle nuts and 4 breaker bars on our 94 Accord crankshaft pulley nut. lol.

The deal is dont buy any shitty cheap auto parts tools. Buy ones that if you break you can take back. I have never had a problem returning a craftsman tool.

You also need to put some man power into it. L

The pipe i was using for leverage was actually part of my weight set (LOL) says max weight is 350 lbs...not sure if i could put THAT much force on something lol. I busted out my DC impact gun which is rated at 250 ft-lbs and THAT wouldn't even break it loose...
