Too bad I can't get a B18A tranny for that price.
I'm trying to drum up some more JDM stuff for y'all (well, me, especially..)
I just sent those guys a message:
"I am looking for a rare/obscure JDM transmission from a 3rd gen Honda Accord. The engine this tranny came with is the B18A, model years 1985 to 1989, I believe. The special feature of this transmission is the bellhousing, which allows those of us in the US and Canada to run the JDM B20A engine with the commonly available american A20 transmission. I am also on a car forum, and there is enough interest in this transmission that if you can provide them for a fair price, you will probably be able to sell several there.
Also of interest are the B20A engines and transmissions. I've seen a couple come across your website lately, and would like to know if you plan on importing any more? When money allows, I'm certainly interested in buying another.
Thanks,
-Mike"
According to Honda Japan's open terrace site 160PS. So pretty much.

stats from the Aerodeck 2.0Si
That would be sweet if they import some B18A transmissions as it would open up many doors for us.
And 4 of us would buy them. And then they'd never import any again... but can't hurt to get one batch in anyways!![]()
ughh I just bought a new toy for the accord getting myself in trouble again.....
i has a b18 box , not sure what i want to do with it yet haha
Yeah somebody better get up on that. That price was a steal for that tranny and the fact that he sold it seperately as well. I still haven't got my blacktop (w/goldtop cams) dynoed yet. I think this will answer a lot of questions as well. I know one thing for sure its fells like its pushing over 140hp

its mint cause its in the car outside
lol who would want a automatic b18a
lol gay good luck selling that, mind you it is in america where everyone loves driving an automatic
Well, the fact that you can get your license without ever touching a stick shift says a lot.
Does the B18A have electric shift solenoids or is it all mechanical like the A20A?

I think we should employ the finish driving regulations. Id like that alot. Teach all these yankers how to drive in the rain. I ride my motorcycle back and forth 100 miles a day rain, shine or storm and these idiots cant figure out how to drive fast and control the cars when its wet. Damn californians!!!
Lol im tryin to get this same one somtime this month lol damn i guess u i betta hop on it lol
I just bought another goldtop today. 500 USD, shipped directly to my shop for an additional 275 US.
