anyway here it is






I also pulled the gearbox apart again to replace the worn diff, and to cover my patch up job in some silicone


and here's the diff that lets me move the pin around

cheers! I had epic fail yesterday when I pulled the gearbox apart, everything fell off the input shaft. I think i got it back together right though (i hope). heres a a20 diff with a b20a ring gear

it took a long time to tighten those bolts when all you have is a breaker bar and a broken vice. after that was done i gave it a good hosing down to clean out all the shit inside.

assembly time:

i hope like hell i got all these shifter & gear thingies back on right :O




casing fitted back on like it should, shifts into gear like it should. guess i wont really know how it goes till it's in a car lol. I'm confident that if it's put back together right, this will be a reliable setup though.

and it's almost ready for a car

i like the stand cause i can have the gearbox attached to the motor and still use it

lol yeah i fucked up. i pulled the casing back off. The counter shaft decided it will stay stuck to the casing & all the gears on the input shaft fell out all over the garage floor, even bigger fail than before. I'll just install another gear set and casing.

could've been worse, i coulda put it in a car and then fail when i try to drive it, making me have to pull it all out again haha

hahaha epic fail. i also assembled a gearbox today and i got it together and swore when 5th gear didnt work, then after i unbolted it i realised 5th gear bolts on after the casing goes on haha
