1988 Honda Accord LX-i Coupe 123k miles.
140K is ALOT of miles on a rotor motor. you must remember what an apex seal is then you will kinda get the point. but then again im sure you havent looked into this at all and are just trying for cool points
lol, its a 3gee they can take the miles, whos to say yours doesnt need mech work when was the timing belt changed? when was the trans serviced? how old is clutch alternator starter etc... all problematic parts on old cars...
yours also needs body work the whole side is scraped up behind the door and its missing the trim piece and has been in a rust environment otherwise the under tail piece wouldn't of rusted out..
besides most people now a days buy 3gees to get form A to B not to be show cars.... so at that price yes its horrible i could get a 4gee for that price.. hell i got mine for $300 needing a wheel bearing, got my 3gee for $500 needing a clutch
and my civic was $1650 but it had mint paint absolute no rust and got it from the 2nd owner that only put 400 miles on it.. also was a 91 and had aftermarket support

Yes, sure as you are, I'm completely idiotic and just looking for a cool car.
The rust on my car is from it sitting 3/4 covered in Washington rain, which is why the rust was so isolated (and, much easier to repair than rusty quarter panels like the only low mileage car you posted). The damage on my car isn't nearly as bad as the cars you posted. My car doesn't look as bad as yours did, and mine doesn't "need" anything. At 164k, my car can still last that much longer than one with 200k+ (which you can find on Craig's List for the same price). Fresh/consistent oil changes, new alternator, new battery, timing belt at 110k. Your Civic was a Civic, 'nough said. Find me a fourth-gen in this condition with the similar miles for the same price or less in Washington.

more miles but still newer and same condtion and cheaper
heres a clean 3gee for cheaper
http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/ctd/1857267576.html
a cleaner 3gee that has an interior color that doesn't make most people puke (just need rims soo add $150 to the price to get some rims from the junkyard and it would looks better then yours imo)

4g with high miles but looks mint and ahs a ton of work put in to it
http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/1855472720.html
4g with same miles and same condtion (dent is = to missing piece)
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1854483412.html
same price higher miles but the fact that its from 1995 it makes up for it
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1854345064.html
its a classic and clean at that

and this pwns every car on CL

clean 4g

btw saying the civic was a civic, well your accord is an old ass accord that would of got beat by that civic :p
anyway need i go on or is my point proven ?
1988 Honda Accord LX-i Coupe 123k miles.
High mileage.
Find out the mileage. And, you can't say it's all that clean if you can't see the entire car.
I'd rather have an interior color that makes most people puke than one that actually looks like puke. You can't bag on my interior color with the one you have. Yeah, "mechanics special" is real conspicuous of a big problem.
Approaching 300k
That dent isn't even close! The missing trim piece is $5-15 at a junkyard! Try finding an entire tail gate for that much.
High miles. Newer means the car is abused more each year.
Older, less expensive. Next.
Scam, or a typo.
200k+
Prove it. You just saying that your old ass Civic could beat my old ass Accord doesn't mean anything. You're just shit-talking at this point (along with the interior deal).
I really hope you don't aspire to be a lawyer.
one its a honda miles dont really matter and my 3gee had less miles on it then yours did when i got it and it had the living crap beat out of it..
newer with more miles = highway driven more which is better then a old ass car and low miles which has been driven around town most of its life where it sits and idles for ever
yes the wagon needs a tailgate but the rest of it is mint
salt and pepper (tan and black) is one of the most loved interior colors on here. 95% of people hate maroon. as with every other forum i go on.
need proof that its a scam
and the old ass civic was 3 years newer, and had around 110hp and was 1900 pounds, your accord has 120 and weighs like 2800 pounds. so in power to weight ratio it pwned.
also your accord is bone stock and doesn't even have an intake for crying out loud .
and as for the lawyer thing i hope the same for you.

Miles matter when it comes to selling any car. Imagine how much the price/demand for my car would change if it were in the same condition with under 100k, or with over 300k.
Prove that they're highway miles. Prove that the miles on my car aren't highway miles.
Doesn't matter if the rest is mint. A tailgate costs more than a trim piece.
I didn't say it wasn't loved. You're trying to use the excuse that red makes most people puke when you have a diarrhea-brown interior.
Prove that it wasn't. More likely to either be a scam, or solely a typo.
Wow, a '91 is super new. My Accord beats the shit out of my friend's swapped, gutted CR-X with a much, much higher power-to-weight ratio.
Bone stock and still kills.
Hope the same for me? I'm still way ahead of you. Every point you've tried to use I've either proved wrong or inconclusive.
Be done already.
oh jeezus this thread has turned into the most pointless thread on the forum! it ranks up there with anything written by GLICIOUS...
^ I think not. At least my V-TEC is real!
Maybe not. Once I get a new car, this thread will be done.
12a rotary is pretty reliable. Not cool, but more reliable than 13b, that's for sure. Cars aren't good for much, aren't fast, don't get good mpg, and not easily flippable.
There's always one or two nice Lxis on Portland cl:

http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/cto/1852037092.html
a miles dont really matter sold my 82 for 300 less then i bought it for with 100k more miles on it and a rattle can paint job and destoryed interior and fucked up carb and bald tires (had good interior decent paint new tires when bought)
same goes for our 97 accord we sold with 200k on it in 2005
and even if a tailgate does cost more its better car newer and the side isnt smashed in.
i perfer brown to red it doesnt feel like a buick i even swaped in a brown DX interior just to get rid of nasty red interior
a 91 is newer then an 88 and has AFTERMARKET SUPPORT meaning its worth more to kids as they cant do shit to an 88
your friend doesnt know how to drive
also why do you allways think your right seriously? kid grow up. your car is not the best accord on craiglist its a bone stock boring plain jane accord.
+1
1988 Honda Accord LX-i Coupe 123k miles.
HAHAHHA, what swap is in your friends rex? a d15b8? lol... my rex and my sedan are faster than a stock accord and they're still single cam, your friend CLEARLY doesn't know how to drive.
dead white and blue
whatever guys, lets not argue with Charlie, you know he's right...
Then I'll just stay away from RX-7's.
Please, just be done.
B16? I'm not 100% sure, but I've driven it, and it's still slower to me.
Dave! Enough! God, I stopped caring, why can't everyone else?
+1 my civic may of been slow on the hills and in the low rpm but when that bitch was up in the high rpms it was faster then my 3gee... also it had a d15 with the tall geared trans and the D15 fuel effecent cam lol
HAHAHAHAHA I <3 you
i dont have to stop :P its a public forum its here for people posting there opinions and i haven't said anything offense yet
and theres no way a 3gee beat anything with a b16 unless the engine is extremely fucked up
+1
and no offense charlie but you are becoming a big douche bag.... might wanna calm your tits and get the sand out of your vagina
