I would just make it look clean, and watch out for kids!! a lot of car shows also give points for having a fire extinguisher, not sure about what group you are with, but Confetti's always did. don't leave anything in the car you want to keep, people will open gloveboxes, reach inside, etc. I found some kid sitting in my car at a show once yanking on the shifter. I was gone maby 2 minutes. bring a chair to sit in too and a cooler for drinks and some sunblock and a hat

what show are you going to?

Like mentioned above...cooler, chairs, and one of those retractable tents are really handy at car shows.

the fire extinguisher is probably not needed

First suggestion, don't link to image embedded in your e-mail.

The best feature about a stock car that's going to get attention, is one that is super clean. Detail the fuck out of it, and clean your engine bay and make it super shiny. Like make sure there is no grease on anything, make the paint in the engine bay look shiny, go over it all with a fine brush. If you've got parts that look old or rusty, take them out and repaint them. Replace old hoses and belts, install nice stainless hoseclamps wherever you can... Just my suggestions...

Whatever you do, don't go overboard with anything like red silicon hoses and a bunch of brightly colored shit. I think it just looks like a cheap effort to bling out your car and makes it look ricey.
