    New from Australia.

Hi guys, thought i'd join up even though I don't own a Honda myself. I actually found an 81 Accord hatch for my sister online. She had 2 early hatches as her 1st and 2nd cars about 15-20 years ago and loved them both. After driving other cars since then she had always been on the lookout for another hatch but the few which did come up were all far too rusty. A few months ago I put a Wanted post on a Honda forum and a month or 2 later got a reply. The guy was selling the 1981 hatch which was bought new by his father in law. Due to his wifes failing eyesite they stopped driving it in 1990. The husband then passed on and the wife couldn't bear to part with it so the guy would drive it around the block every so often and do any required servicing. Anyway she not long died as well and the guy had no place to store it so sold it to my sister. The car has done a little bit over 21000kms, or roughly 13000 miles and is absolutely immaculate. And it just happened to be the same colour combo as my sisters last one, green with beige/brown interior. She loved it so much she shipped it from Sydney to Perth. The only problems with the car was it needed 4 new tyres as the others (originals) were perished, and they fitted crappy aftermarket mirrors on both sides so she is looking for a UK spec passenger side chrome paddle mirror (drivers side came packed in a box). It has all it's tools, brand new original spare (unused), and books/service history. I only have crappy photos atm so will take a heap of others and will post them here. Cheers, Glenn.
