I inherited a 1986 lx 4dr accord a while ago..

i will get pictures tonight of it and the motor going into it..

engine is out of my swapped 97 dc2:

97 JDM ITR motor w/5spd lsd trans.

left over parts from the rwd project will be going into this car..

EFI fuel tank
Full SE-i diskbrake swap
front/rear se-i sway bars
theres more... cant remember..

the car as a lil'bit of rust... but i will bring it to someone else to rid of it asoon as i'm driving it so it doesnt turn into somthing huge like my previous projects...

That car is pretty damn minty! The blue interior looks pretty damn good all fresh and nice like that... Seriously though, a turbo A20 in the Integra would be hilarious. What are you going to actually put back in the Acura?

yea it was bought by my parents in the late 90's then sold to my uncle, it was then converted to 5spd.. and never really driven after than.. so it sat most of the time until recently it was given to me.

i dont mind at all... i will be taking alot of pictures but i wont always post.. best thing to do is pm me from time to time for updates.. i will mostly be restricted to working on it weekends.. there are alot of things i want to do to the car first before i make this swap possible.. and one of those things are use the 97 accords fuel delivery system so i dont have to pull any of the interior outside of having to replace the cluster and add an ecu.

my swap will not include using the innovative mounts as i understand that you cant use regular b18 axles with them. i will be using the axles from the 97 ls.

Energizer Batteries can be bought at Wal-Mart.

That's what I have on my Civic and it's a really good battery.

It just keeps going and going and going...

well, it looks like my plans are changing for the 86lx.. im not doing the itr swap anymore...

instead, I'm putting this in, once i find a transmission and flywheel/clutch/axles.
