Sounds like valves (Could have dropped a valve), timing.
Pull valve cover.
Phil
put your seatbelt on darn it!
from the little I could hear by that shotty footage it sounds busted. Do a compression test on it.
What have you been doing with it?
yea, id pull off that valve cover and see whats up...
Oh and the motor makes kind of a screech noise sometimes, and it will barely drive enough to move it.
that sounds like rod knock.
pull the oil pan to make sure.
un-motivated!
someone make me an offer i just could not say no to.

ok well first thing in the morning ill take my valve cover, and my oil pan off and check things out, take some pictures. Ill keep posted.
when u pull the valve cover, look at the cam and look at the little teeter-totter things that are touching it (these are ur rocker arms). check to make sure they are all snugg and dont have too much free play...
I think a new engine is in the very immediate future, that sounds like everything in there is about to fly apart.
ok well i pulled my valve cover, and all of em are fine and snug. How much am i lookin to pay for a new engine? like from a junkyard
ok thx,
do compression test. then drain oil and check for metal shavings... also check fireing order and make sure all 4 cylinders are firing
IF you dont own a compression tester run down to your local Vatozone and rent one

I dropped my oil pan to check the rod bearings, and the oil sender thing started dropping out metal chunks and shavings, and there everywhere in my oil pan. Big chunks, little slivers, flakes, and its a copper-ish looking color. As for my rod bearings, the 2nd one moves but it takes a little force, but my 3rd moves about 1/2 in. in all directions.
time for a new engine.
yep time to go jy hunting for a low mile engine
