    Braking problem with 1999 honda accord anyone help ?

    Hello,
    Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed my brakes fail for a couple of seconds and theres a slight vibration coming from the brake peddle,this has happend four times now.I dont know if it is related but the abs light is coming on intermitently,theres nothing wrong with the discs or pads,has anyone got any ideas?

    Remove and clean the ABS sensors at the brakes. If you can get a code from the memory it will be easier to locate which sensor might need to be addressed. The sensors are the first items to check from my experience. You can test then, you just have to find out what the testing procedure is for your sensors.

    Then from there it can get abit more involved but fixable.

    Vibration could be glazed pads. Remove and scuff with sand paper. Pads and rotors/drums. Also rotors could be out of round.

    normally with wheel sensors you just check to make sure they arent open circuited. ie they have a resistance or continuity.
    after that, i'd recommend going and getting the system scanned for a code.
    could be a faulty abs pump,ecu or something more sinister
