why are you doing a Stand alone? are you boosted?

No not yet but im going to put a bigger cam, port the head, higher compression pistons, headers and exhaust and a little larger injector.

The SAFC hook up is in the FAQ/how to section.
PLEASE don't call safc a standalone... there are a lot better options, just go obd1.

Thanks, I found the hook up and the computer pinout. I got it all hooked up and its workin! I got it hooked to my stock engine and tuned it a little and its running better than it ever has. now i can start my modifications!

Has anyone here have there check engine lite come on after hooking the apexi s-afc up when you really get on it? And also when the car gets hot in spins over more than normal before it starts?
main relay is the start problem.
as for the check engine light, see what code it is.
I ask because both problems started after i hook the safc up. And as for the check engine lite i turned the controller down a little an it didnt come on anymore.

eh.. i dono too much about that one...
Ima just change the main relay like you said because if i dont then that will be the problem.
