    Demon Carburetor Question

I had a Demon carburetor on my 1975 Celica and it worked fantastic, was reliable, and SUPER easy to tune. I was wondering what anyone thought of the feasibility of putting a small 525CFM Demon carburetor on the EK1 for a 1983 Honda Accord Hatchback.

    Is it even possible?

Is that a 4bbl carburetor? It's totally feasible. You're going to have to modify the stock intake manifold, or fabricate a manifold to work. "A20A1" (someone's username on here) has made some posts about fitting a 4bbl on an A20 manifold, and it would be pretty much the same procedure.

this would be a better choice if you don't mind a manual choke, much better match as far as cfm http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-0-7448/

    Re: Demon Carburetor Question

Actually, it's a twin barrel that I am looking at from Demon---same as on my '75 Celica. I will look at the Summit racing one, also. I here that Redline Weber also has a Fuel Injection Conversion Kit I may consider, but due to cost it's highly unlikely.
