    Alternator issues please help?

was wondering if anybody could help me out with an alternator prob.
The car is running stand alone engine managment with no alternator control from the factory ecu. the issue is the alternators I keep putting in my car keep burning out and wont charge my battery.the car will run fine for 20 minutes or so with the new alternator. after a while the car will start running speraticly, bad idle and revs up choppy. if I unplug the alt after the car starts running bad,the car will run just fine again. I have used both the 3 wire and 4 wire alternators with the same issue. any ideas?

    lol!

I got a couple of pics of the adaptor harness i made.
The square plug is located behind the passenger light and the single yellow/green wire is the temp guage wire.

So what exactly did you do? I see you spliced the green/black with the yellow/wire, what did this do?

Those wires are for the reverse light switch. On the auto engine harnesses they are looped together with a single green/black wire. You can just cut it and extend to reach the reverse switch wires. Then you would just need to splice the wires together at the AT selector switch connector. They have nothing to do with the alternator.

I have the big white wire going to the under hood fuse box, the black/yellow wire(switched 12v) to the black/yellow wire at the connector,white/blue to the connector, and the white/green wire to the connector plug. not using the white/red wire

I also tried the big white wire to the battery pos.,black/yellow to the black/yellow wire, white/blue to light bulb then from the bulb back to black/yellow, and then the white/green wire to other 12v feed with no change. all wired up according to the wiring diagram for the 88 accord.
