hatch looks good, have fun aligning the front panels!!! i always hated that job lol
update on the hatch.. nothing at all done to it over the summer. too d a m n hot really it was.
I need to 1200 wetsand the hood and lids so the semi black looks right, I did this on the first stage and it looked pretty good but I had DA scratches still in it so thats taken care of now. The JDM corners finish off the eyelids pretty decent I think. Probably dechrome that grill further, then its time to get some paint on the rest of the car. Seriously need to get back on adjusting the whole front end some more too, dam light doors still out of whack, radiator suppt bent some
I did replace the passenger inside door panel with one from a coupe, taken apart and swap bottoms. Installed SEI console, and thats about all done since the beginning of the thread.
Still have a random skip at low rpms, annoying and I have a hunch somebody adjusted the valves wrong when they were messing with the timing belt being out a tooth. Runs out strong otherwise and skip goes away or seems to, I havnt given the car as much attention as I think it needs right now.

just found and bought these at pull a part, not sure If I would use them or not.. not much hardware they just slide on at the top and have adhesive hooks to the glass on the bottom. all aluminum though

^ Mike (mykwikcoupe) would pay a killing for those.
I just laid them up on the car, the last louver is bent slightly but it looks easy to streighten out then paint.
Still undecided though, I had an 85 Cavalier type T and I had them on it and this car reminds me of it.. oddly enough . Hell I loved that car, it had manual rack and a OHV 2 liter that looked like a SB v8 cut in half. OEM tube headers and cast valve cover etc..

the louvers seem kinda.......wavey
yes like I said the last one on the bottom is bent, they just came out of the yard and I threw them up on the car to see if I like them or not. The bend is not bad and if you look at them from behind they are evenly spaced except that one corner. It's rigid aluminum and yes the pics are horriblethere not fastened or cleaned
edit.. sounds like im defending keeping them on..

well i was just meaning it looks like somone layed somthing on the rights side
im not trying to be a dick i just wasnt sure if it was the picture or if im completely wrong
yes you are seeing correctly it has had something lay on it and the pic is soaking up all kinds of light. Its just that corner, about a ten inch square area where the thing is bent some between the brace and the edge. Once I pull it in and roll that last blade streight it should be ok. The space is even all the way across on the rest of the blades(louvers) and there is a dirt ring on all of them on the right side that gives an optical illusion too. Must be right where a limb or something was laying on it.
The rest of the car was just nasty like it was under a tree with the windows down a couple of years. I wouldnt have gone inside this car... scared of natural occuring anthrax or something![]()
Are they OEM louvers? They look great. Saw them on Dave's hatch in person, and they look killer! Make it happen!![]()
LOUVERS FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the windshield mouldings, like the one on top of the windshield... are they the same on the hatch and sedan? Mine blew off yesterday, I had a leak and so I used liquid electrical tape.. yeah
... and brushed it on under the moulding and let it set. Evidently I didnt get the moulding snapped on well enough. No leaks though!
Now I need a new moulding though...![]()
Roodoo you dont know if you are useing those louvers? If now.. what do you want for em? $$$$ wise...
Ive been working on them, you know there was a pushed in place on the right?
I just cleaned up the bonding strip they bolt to and was going to try to mount it up to see how they look. PM me an offer I cant refuse before I do that. They cost too much to ship from what I gather, but then how much does a 37-40" lcd tv cost to ship, the same box & packing could be used...
I may as well use them because they are too difficult and expensive to ship from what I gather.
I am not sure if they are oem or not, they are very well made I know that much. They look like the oems ive seen here but I dont see any HONDA logo but honestly I haven't looked for it.
I have that type. I don't think there OEM but I don't know what company made them.
