    should I...

    get rid of power steering??
my high pressure hose broke a few months back and its been too cold to fix it(ha) and well... i have just got too lazy to fix it. So I'm letting 3geez decide for me. Ps or no ps!

    Give reasons too.

If you dont need the room for modifications then i say fix it! I beleive that IF you have a STREET CAR/DAILY DRIVER then it should be easy to drive with all the accesories and bells and whistles. On the other hand if its a RACE/WEEKEND cruiser then it really dont matter.

I like my power steering, every time I get in a Civic I think about how much nicer mine is in parking lots etc. But if that shit breaks it's coming out, it's not that nice.

Keep it working, it's a touch of class.
UNLESS you repalce the rack with a proper manual type or closest thing to one that isnt a total duct tape popscile stick rig up.

    Re: should I...

might as well fix it, it's nice to have for parking, it's one of the first progressive power steering systems made, well at least the first one to actually work. once you are above 15, the high pressure fluid is diverted away from the rack anyway and just circulates

Oooh, I want to see that. Wonder if it would even work on my 2g 'lude? I suppose I should get down there and see if I can tighten up the rack while the rest of the car is still ripped apart. One of my coilovers is leaking too damn it.

    I think I need a cookie also.

I'll have some pictures of the wood model up tomorrow or the next day.

Not sure if it would work for the prelude. Looks similar, but PNs for the valvebody and such are different...
