Put NEW tires and ditched the stock 13 inch steelies with bald tires for 14 inch steelies with NEW tires, new lugs and EK hubcaps.

The previous owners were pot heads who never took care of the car. When I got it, it had one stud broken on the front and I ended up breaking one myself taking the steelies off. They used these crappy lugs that rusted to to the stud. No amount of WD40 got this one loose and it broke.



Guess I can add replacing the two studs to my to do list. There were three more like this that lots of WD40 and patience were able to get off.

Here's the new wheels.





Slowly but surely, it's getting there. I replaced the battery last week.

Best of all I picked up 4 new tires, mounted on the steelies, with a set of lugs and EK Civic hupcaps for $75.

I put those on right before it started raining. The rain in the pics makes the paint look so much better. lol Wish the paint looked like that in person, then maybe I wouldn't have to have it painted.

Installed rear splash guards yesterday. Pics to come hopefully.

Pics of rear splash guards installed. The driver side needs more work. It has four screws. One that attaches inside the wheel well, and then three for the bumper. On MY bumper on the driver side, there is no bracket behind the bottom hole for the screw to catch, then the splash guard doesn't have a middle hole drilled in it. So it's just held on by two screws on the driver side. Ugh.
