brake booster and master cylinder ?

on my project car that im puttin the b18 in, ive always had bad brakes with not much pedal. ive put all new break parts and bled them but still never fixed the problem. So that leads me to the brake booster. I was wondering if the 2 door and 4 door brakes boosters can be swapped? I know the master cylinder on my 4 door is bigger so i'm not sure.

86-7 are paired and 88-9 are paired. What year is the MC from? If its from 88-9 its bigger

It could be because the dx to lxi/exi the Exi/Lxi have bigger front brakes than the DX's

true i forgot about that, i should still be able to swap the booster and cylinder tho because i thought all the cars were the same in the front so the firewall must be the same.

I believe (could be mistaken) that the booster and MC from the carbed cars are smaller, as they had smaller front brakes. They will swap though.

try replceing the rubber lines from the body to the spindle. When they get old they will swell when you push on the pedal. Try a aftermarket set of stainless braided lines, helped mine.

yeah the rubber over the lines are gettin in bad shape so ill have to replace them. and i think im gonna swap the bigger brakes from the exi to. What all is different does it just have larger rotors or are the calipers different as well?
