    new carb? or fix/replace float?

    The float has gone bad on my carb... new carbs at autozone are 450-650. i paid 500 for the car lol. was wondering what my options were. thanks.

    yeah i always do my own work. autozone is a parts store, was going to buy a carburetor but the price of them new really puts that out of the question.

    just look or ask around for anyone with carb top hats they are willing to part with.

    I used to have extra but i don't know where I put them.
