The driver window has never stayed on track since the car was purchased. It appears the mechanism inside is broken. I am gonna take a closer look tomorrow. Does anyone know if the crank mechanism inside the door 1) can come out cutting up the inner door and 2) will a 4 door sedan door mechanism work? By mechanism I am referring to the track that guides the window and the actual hand crank assembly.
i dont think a 4 door one would work, but you can pull out the thing without cutting up the door. ones from other 2 door hondas 'might' work though
Thought I could find a cheap door and not mess with it but not too easy to locate here. Guess I just have to pull the whole mess out and go looking at a junkyard.
Get that fixed ASAP....I had the same issue, and now my windows broken.

Since I posted the question I looked up in the shop manual. It appears the mechanism fits through a oblong hole in inner door. Dunno what went wrong but the glass just flops around inside the door when you close it. Will take your advise. Will at least get the glass out!
are the rubber seals around the window in good condition?
I think so.Will take a better look during the day tomorrow.(well..later on)
