    Question Timing Question

Hey guys outside working on the sei today since it's nice out for a change.Thought i would check the dist to see if advancing it a bit would make it run better.Don't have a timing light so i usually just turn it a bit and see how it runs. But when i went to turn it,it was already turned as far as it could to advance. Is there any reason for this?Never checked this before.

Someone put a timing belt on it and got it off one tooth?

    Re: Timing Question

You really need to rent, borrow or buy a timing light. It's all guessing without one and the possibility that you will ping your engine to death.
