Thread: The Se-i is in the shop.... aaaaah!

    Angry The Se-i is in the shop.... aaaaah!

    Hey, I get my liscence in just over a week now and I am suposed to share my sisters 89 accord Se-i with her. The car started off as my dads when he bought it with 90,000kms and for $10,000 canadian, about 6 years ago or so, then it became my moms about 2 years ago, and the somehow ended up in my sisters hands and not mine.

    Anyways, the car was in real nice condition, and then my sister decided to never wash the car, so it started to rust a bit, then on the 23rd of august, a small rear ender happened... broken taillight, dented bumper... but then rolled around the 23rd of Sept. and yes u guessed it, ANOTHER accident....aaaahh! so now the car is in the shop, with a folded exaust, body damage, and waiting for the stupid insurance people and I am left with no car for when i get my liscence!!....

    I will hopefully post some pics soon.... hehehe, and maybe some progress reports.. the car will be repaired and hopefully get a bit of a facelift in the process... new paint! woo.... peace out

    i'm on the east coast, in Nova Scotia...................and Hash_man_Se_i, either buy the SE-i from your sis and fix it up cause SE-i's are NICE, or get your own 3g, that way you won't have to share a car with your sister and eventually have no car at all cause it gets wrecked!

    well.... today worse news, the insurance company went back to the shop, and took another look. Well now they are writing it off ... Aaah! they say there is over $4500CDN damage done to the car... so now I may buy the car for around $600 and salvage it and put the good stuff into a low end 3rd gen accord

    Hash_man_Se_i: no man, but it and go to junk yard. But the parts you need for cheap and fis it yerself. Saves you buying another car and you still get an SE-i. Afterwards, just get it inspected again.

    Damn, insurance peeps keep messin with my head, now the car is bein fixed... i am goin to the shop tommorow to check out the damage, and all the rust is bein cut out as well!!
