Has the Spring weather got everyone out in their cars, or has the fallout from the Icelandic volcano got everyone stranded in a distant airport check in. 2G section seems to have gone into hibernation.

It happens on occasion. You get a burst of new users, then poof, everybody is gone and there's no discussion for a while... Glad to see some people are still checking in. Anything new with you?
Just did the 'St. Georges Day' road run on Sunday 75 miles of mayhem, was meant to be a 2hr run on mainly single track back roads, due to poor route mapping everyone kept getting lost. It was like Wacky Races on amphetemine!! 5 cars from my local car club entered, this bad pic shows us at the start, my car is far right.
Lots of Healeys, MGs, Mini Coopers etc, 105 cars in total. 2 of my group have rallied internationally and still got lost, the little Riley Elf with it's bonnet up has works Cooper S mechanicals.
Cool! It's so funny to me, to see the Accord regarded with a more "classic" status. Over here, most people treat them like old beaters and toss them aside. They may look at a pristine one like yours a little differently. Great you see you rockin' it!
They are regarded the same here, but I keep pushing the boundaries!!! I find 'Classic Prejudice' amusing but people who know me also know my classic car credentials are fully paid up. This is what the Honda replaced:
and this is it's stablemate, work in progress:
Ooho what are they? I've never seen that top one before! Is the green car an Escort?
Grey one was a 1947 Standard 12, now being used as a staff car by a ww2 re-enactment group, Green one is a 1974 Mk1 Ford Escort, was my sisters, then my sons when he was at school (he restored it in time for his 17th birthday), then university, now I'm putting it back on the road as it's in my way and might as well use it!!!
Holy fuck dude. I was wondering where you went. Man, that sucks. So sorry to hear that... My friend just had to quit from our Lemons team because he's going to be getting some cancerous tissue removed. Fucking sucks hard.
I'm sorry to hear that Ichiban. How are you holding up? Take care and get better. We need you here.

Yeah, I'm back at my parent's place in BC, the land of the 28.8K dialup internet service. Woah, all the smilies just loaded, weird. It takes this computer about 5 minutes to load that fucking K&N ad banner at the top of the screen.
Oh, a B20A goes in tomorrow, I've already installed the modified crossmember, and prelude wheelbearings, seals and flanges. Everything fit, wonder of wonders. Lets see if the engine physically fits. The tape measure gives conflicting results in that regard.
Next Monday brings three full days of Chemo, then two of hydration so my kidneys don't die. Fun 2Geez chore #2: Google "Cisplatin side effects." That will be my week.
Tally ho, all.
Fuck man. This is depressing news. Glad to see the B20A project is still alive though man. Keep it up.
true, glad to hear the engine is about to go in, hope it fits.....
Oh shit! PICS!
Pics of what?
PICS of everything!!
But in this case, the B20A swapped into his Accord!
Ah, it's coming out again tomorrow. The rear EL mount fucks up, so I'm chopping it off. In it's place is going to be welded a rear mount from a 3g that's been chopped out around the bolt holes, giving me a baseplate of sorts so I can weld it to my crossmember.
John, should stick up a picture of your rear mount so I can kind of approximate the location. Where it sits on the crossmember is what I need to know. I tried looking for a 2.5g at the wreckers, but they crushed everything >3g.
Edit: found a good picture on page 15 of B20A thread. Guess I should have searched.
So that's where I've been lately. Probably go back to whoring the B20A thread like I should.
Crap, I just realised I have no A20 rear tranny bracket. The B20A F2K5 bracket I have is nowhere even close to fitting, even the EL bracket needed to be re-organised to bolt to the B18A bellhousing.
