Problem with Wide Open Throttle

So I'll barely press on the gas, and it'll continue to wide open throttle even though I'm not pressing on it, and it'll rev up to about 4k RPM and stay there at Wide Open Throttle. I checked the Throttle Cable, it seems to be fine, So I'm confused.

Wide open throttle implies that the throttle plates in the carb are staying open. Do you mean that it's just revving up high and staying there? Or are the throttle plates actually sticking open? The vacuum secondary might be sticking open for some reason. Maybe you put a check valve in backwards? Check the vacuum line that runs from the dashpot on the secondary throttle plate maybe...
