As far as axles check out the link provided by Stat1K, I am interested in someone else trying out what 88LXi68 used. A direct bolt in axle would be awesome, and I'm 99% sure it will work cause he has been running it longer then I have been using mine.

Read the thread provided by stat1K.

Thanks man, exactly what I was gonna post lol.
as for the cyp problem, when you ran the wires out side of the harness did you run a shielded wire? the wires for the distributor sensors should always be shielded, also have you looked at the plug itself, i had a persistant problem with my civic's ignition circuit and it turned out that two of the wires were pushing out of their holes and making intermittent contact with the receiving wires of the sensor.

I did not run shielded wires, I wonder if that could be the problem? Does that cause signal issues to/from the distributor due to interference, or something? I did check both the plug male, and female side. Everything looks to be in order there.

yes there can be interference issues from any number of other electrical circuits on the way. typically though, if you ran it outside the car from the ecu to the dizzy itself you would eliminate any interference in between, it could still be possible to be picking some up i guess. have you tried to back probe the wires from the connector to the ecu and make sure they are in the right spot? often times people switch the two along the path when converting to mpfi, in the case of a civic, and will throw a code but the car will run in limp mode. i've done this myself on occasion. also a lot of distributor wiring diagrams are extremely confusing being that most of the aftermarket companies that make honda distributors don't maintain a coherent color coding. dizzy kings will have beige and off white colored wires next to white wires making it difficult to match the exact termination of the wires.

So there was a short in the harness leading to the distributor. Got the harness bypassed, and now I drove the car home. Everything runs well, and now all I need to do is get the wiring cleaned up a little. Get an alignment done, and the car is ready to drive. It felt so damn good to drive a 3gee again. Get ready for some restoration threads here in the next couple weeks.

Recording on a iPhone will leave the view that way lol. I don't have an intake on there at all cause I am still working on the wiring. I don't run CAI, just to much chance of trashing the engine.

Honestly we can barely get a regular nation wide 3gee meet together lol, but b-swapped 3gee meet would be epic.
