Required to do this swap
- Place Racing Motor Mounts (these have been discontinued, but a forum member built his own mounts) EDIT: Innovative has decided to start making B-swap mounts again. I cannot confirm that these will work with all the parts I have listed here, but it is very likely that they will.
- Passenger Axle: 87-89 Acura Integra Passenger Side Axle (A little long, but it works)
- Drivers Axle: The center shaft of the axle comes from the passenger side of the 86-89 accord. The ends (parts that connect to the hub, and to the transmission) are from an 88-91 Integra. This axle was put together for me by a professional axle shop, almost any axle repair place should be able to do it for you.
(88LXi68, is running a 3rd generation(88-91) prelude drivers side axle for this application. I have not tried it out myself, but he has been running the PRI mounts much longer then I have)- Place racing custom shift linkage (also discontinued, so good luck). This is an easily fabbed item. All you need is the stock Accord shift Linkage with and integra end (scroll down for comparison pictures).
- Custom Engine and Sub harness to convert to OBD-1 (I purchased mine from Rywire )
- Factory 86-89 Lx-i Accord Throttle cable (will work with a GSR throttle body bracket, and maybe others.)
- You can use a factory 86-89 Accord clutch cable but it is a little long. I recommend using an 87-91 Acura Integra clutch cable, it fits just right in the engine bay.
- You must use the rear engine/transmission mount bracket from a 90-93 Integra.
I used the factory 86-89 Accord fuel line, it bolts right on. With the coolant hoses I had to use the upper radiator hose from the Accord with no problems, and the factory B-series lower radiator hose. With the lower hose you will have an issue if you are using the factory Accord radiator. The lower hose has a larger diameter then the Accord hose, Just make sure to use a very sturdy clamp on the hose that you can tighten with a screw driver or ratchet.

I'm starting work on swapping the LS/vtec into the new Hatch, figured i'm due for a picture thread lol!
These are for the first hatch, have to pay homage before doing the swap.
Started pulling all the un-used items, and prepping for the swap. This one's gonna be different, cause I'm gonna use the A/C system this time. I will also keep the battery in the engine bay. I kinda want a the swap to look retro, I want it to look like it came from the factory with that engine. I'm thinking about using the vacuum box as a breather to keep with the theme of the car.
On to the new car!
