Honestly stat1k is right, you need to read more. I'm having a little trouble understanding what ur are saying, u don't use periods to end your sentences. As far as the harness, IT WILL HAVE TO BE CUSTOM, and for your mounts innovative makes them, but axles and shift linkage are CUSTOM.

clearly you haven't read anything. mounts are available through innovative, making your own harness means adapting what you have currently. just swapping in an obd2 harness won't do shit.

you clearly have never done a swap before so i suggest some basic reading on swaps through honda-tech. then come back and try again. in the mean time there is no reason to whore up this thread.

And a new problem, now the car is smoking like crazy when driving. The plugs fowl really quick as well. Looks like I have a valve stem seal leak. I'm not gonna give up on the car, but this will set back any plans I had for it. I'm done with this engine, I am gonna find a nice used b20 and pop it in there. I was close, just about had everything I needed to start running AC with the b-swap dammit.

Believe me I am in the same boat, I have been riding my motorcycle everyday with 103 + days here. Just frustrating as shit cause I've spent so much time with getting this new chassis up and going.

really? I don't even get how that would work. How do you prevent the valves from falling into the engine?

it threads into the sparkplug hole and fills the cylinder with air, as long as the rings aren't shot it should work... another option is to shove rope into the cylinder lol...

Interesting, I think I may have just found a thread about that on H-T. The road sounds like my route since I don't have a compressor lol.

    Re: B-swap reborn!

Yup all you needto do is run air using a leak down compressor or put the piston on top on the set of valve you doing. Run some Rope an cake. The tool I got makes it simple here is what I got. But like I said I had some copy's made lol.

    Re: B-swap reborn!

Alright, I am scrapping this motor. Looks like it could be rings, or it could be a head gasket. Either way, I just want to drive my 3G. I will be picking up a b20 on Friday and popping it in there over the weekend. Ill update picks as it is happening.

Like crv b20 or JDM B20? I would assume the CRV but being as we have the option for the JDM I feel I should ask.

JDM B20 are just to difficult to own and maintain if you don't live in europe, or Asia. I would love to have one if they were easy to come by and maintain.

Yeah, I thought about that. It would involve more money. This way I can just slap the new engine in there, and be done with it!
