Could somebody get that knife out of my back? I would ask Pat, but he is the one that put it there . It was pretty faster after the GSR motor was put into it lol.

I already have the kit from my ls-v, but I really don't want to deal with all that. Not as plug and play as they seem.

    Re: B-swap reborn!

Well I would have had the car running last saturday, but the guy I ordered the intake manifold from sent me one for a b16. Decided I would run the b20 manifold to make sure engine was not a dud. Everything fired up on the first try, just need to get the proper intake manifold.

    LSv coming out.

    Bye Bye LSv, hello b20!

    All clear

And this is why the stock b20 intake manifold can not be used.

It definitely would not, the manifold stick up past the hood quite some bit.

Actually thought about that till they send my my new manifold, but Texas weather can change in a heart beat and some rain in there would be bad.

The irony is that 2 days prior to the swap I threw away a perfectly good LS manifold I had for almost 4 years. Just my luck with this car .

Let me know what you think of the B20 vs. LSvtec in your car. I love how torquey the b20 is in mine, but really am wanting a vtec head as it seems to lack a bit in the top end.

It is a much different type of drive, the LSv revs higher and makes more HP. The b20 will be a better DD type of motor imo. I'll get some videos up when its running.

I've heard that people run the stock rod bolts up to 7.5 rpm. Not sure if I would try it, but seems to be proven so far.
