200+ ALL MOTOR LS VTEC
It was the 88-91 traction bar and John@Explicit should have the changes marked down. The kit was nice and John was very easy going as i made a few changes to fit the kit to the accord.

dude. how have i missed this? looks like it should turn out to be a clean example of a kitted car
Low is a Lifestyle, and I'm living the life.
Its in the works i have always liked the xenon kit but never realized how much work it would be. Thus far the rear is mounted and the front is almost done but the sides will require the most work. The front will need some mods as well to get a clean look as well.
This is many years in the making but i am pushing the project as it has been in limbo for a long time. At this point i feel i may have grown apart from parts of the build but i will push through and see what comes of it since i have 90% of what i wanted 5 years ago. More to come!
looking good ROB!
What are some of the advantages of a Mishimoto alternator as opposed to the oem?
Hey Rob! Good to see you are back at it again. Mike Lee and I are still really good friends so whenever 3geez comes up, we always end up talking about your B20 turbo build.
I totally understand where you are coming from (growing apart from the build). Like you, I had a good chunk of the parts needed to do what I wanted, just never got around to finding another shell to start over on (which has changed recently). Your new shell looks really good!

It was kind of a blessing that i sold my Subaru Legacy because it has pushed me to get this going since my daily driver is a work van. The shell is a great base since my red coupe has seen better days (rust wise). I am glad i kept my car though as i considered selling off many of times.
Glad to see you still come around as many of the older guys have moved on. Mike Lee passed the B20A turbo build onto me and i want to see it though as i failed in the past.
I think I'll be here a lot more now that I have another 3rd gen to work on. I should get Mike to stop by here too and take a peak. A lot has changed since he was around in regards to the info available on the B20A. He's happy his stuff went to a good home though.

The bad thing in general are a lot of parts have been discontinued from Honda never mind the B20A parts. I am finding it more challenging since i can't just order stuff from Honda like i use to.
Good luck with your new project!
It will be turbo again as i made some changes with a full one off custom turbo manifold. If i paint the car first i may put my N/A B20A in so i can drive the car until the turbo is done. If i never got to drive my B20A boosted i probably would have gave up on it long ago. But it was awesome for the short time it was boosted.
Looking great Rob! Keep it up.

I finally got my radiator back from my welder and it came out mint as it still uses the Honda supports on top. I had him cut and make longer upper stems. Now i need to make up lower brackets as the new stems were way off. I plan on having a steel piece made on a brake so it offsets down and uses the factory rubber grommets. Wheel bearings will be in tomorrow so i can get the car back on the ground by the end of the week if all goes well.
If it warms up i want to go pull my N/A B20A out of the red car along with a bunch of aftermarket parts to put that one back to stock to sell. I plan to use that money to buy all the paint supplies for the new build. I am skeptical of selling the red one because the beige interior is still in great shape and it would be a good daily driver so we will see what comes of that.

Bearings came in so i will press those in tomorrow but here is the Mishimoto radiator in place and the mock up B20A.
I still need to pull my Suspension Tech sway bars off the red car and have them stripped and powder coated and then redo my brakes. I have all the brake parts but im not sure what im doing for calipers. I may just slap on my powerstop rotors, axis pads, and ss lines and clean up the calipers for the time being. Things add up fast thats for sure as the front wheel bearings were over $170.

arent you afraid with the lack of clearance of the turbo and the radiator. I know you have a basically solid engine mount system.
wow that is a close fit

Its not as close at it looks and that was my old Garrett T3 Super 60 which was a good match. I plan to use a slightly bigger turbo this time around. Also i don't have a spare B20A rear mount so the motor is sitting more forward as well. I plan to put two pusher fans on the front of the radiator to keep the rear clear. And i still plan to add a tranny mount using my innovative b-series tranny mount and a custom weld on mount to my B20A tranny.
