If you have an 88 you cant fit 13" you'll need 14's unless you downgrade to 86-87 brakes.

I read your sig. does that mean you love shit?

I wouldn't waste your time with 13 or 14s on these cars as they just look silly with the way the fenders flare. go with a 15x6.5 or 15x7 wheel and a 40mm offset

Peruse through the following from 3GEEZ home page: Information - Frequently Asked Questions - Sub Forums: Suspension, Wheels, Tires & Brakes. There is a wealth of info on what you are looking for regarding wheels. Ultimately you get to choose the look you want for your 3G from a variety of sizes, styles and colors of wheels. 14" rims is your minimum starting diameter, 13's will not fit on an LXi, it's a brake rotor diameter issue.

www.1010tires.com/tech.asp?type=wheels a lesson in wheel offset for you. Happy wheel hunting.
