    Round 2 Auto X...

Tomorrow's Event #2. Went and set up the track today, it should be pretty fun. Well see how she does tomorrow, just installed an Addco rear sway bar, and poly front bushings, radius bushings and poly filled the front mount, and dog bone. I still need to install the rear bushings, didn't have enough time. I'll update tomorrow with results, and pics.

Heres a link to all the entrants.

Around here you get to run novice class once then you move to competitive classes.

What class is your car supposed to be in?

I'm running in SM (Street Modified) but I think I'm just about borderline with SP (Street Prepared) Really neither class is good for me to be in, but I give her hell.

MY CF hood, screws me, and so does my prelude tranny swap. But I'm gonna put the stock hood back on and run STX (I think I can get away with the gearbox because it's an out of production car, and I cant get a replacement trans) which is why I have the lude box anyways. Couldn't find a 3g box

They won't go as far as pulling the code off the trans, not for autocross at least.

    MAinly the cat.
ST, STS, STR – Catalytic converters may be replaced by aftermarket
    units. Replacements must:
    1) Be certifi ed for use in that vehicle application by the manufacturer
    or reconditioner,
    2) Bear correct EPA-mandated labeling,
    3) Be of the OE quantity and type (i.e. oxidation, three-way, etc.)
    and
    4) Be used in the same location(s), relative to the chassis, as the
    OE converter(s).
This does allow for high performance replacements, provided they
    meet all restrictions herein.
STX, STU – Any high fl ow catalytic converter(s) are allowed, but
must attach within six inches of the original unit. Multiple catalytic
converters may be replaced by a single unit. The inlet of the single
replacement converter may be located no further downstream
than 6” along the piping fl ow path from the original exit of the fi nal
    OE converter.

I am a noob to this classing thing, so I may be wrong, but I already swapped back to my steel hood, to try to get out of SM.

Just run ST. Test pipe or high flow cat or whatever is not making the difference and unless you start kicking the shit out of civics with motons, no one will call you on it.

    Re: Round 2 Auto X...

Yeah that's what I think I'm going to try, but I have to be careful because I already got talked to about "Being too fast" And a bunch of people thought I was a ringer and had experience and what not, So I kinda gotta be careful what I do not to cause any rumblings.

You got talked to for being too fast? LOL! Some people take Autocross way too seriously.
