A couple days ago i was driving my 3g and everything was normal, i got home and turn the car off... About an hour later, i go out to the car and start it, and the speedometer and tach arent working. possible solutions?

werid because speedo is mechanical and tack is electric. take off your instrument cluster and drive around to see if the cable turns.

The tach started working again but the speedometer still isnt. how do i take off the cluster to see the cables?

Theres a panel on top of the dash above the cluster pull it off(two screwes.) all the switches have a screw or two behind them.. the that part of the dash sould just pull right off then there is four screws on the cluster.. take them out and and unplug the wires from the back, and your set. A magnetic screwdriver really helps cause its hard to put the screws back cause the fall really easily
