Wow! Lots of work put into that car, but the outcome was fantastic! Great looking car, and the mirror tints don't look half bad with that color actually. Why did the engine catch on fire? Was that the same car all the way through, or did you get a new car after the fire, since I see one with gold badges and another without... What's up with the car being lifted? That looks scary, I don't think I would allow that!

The paint is amazing in the end. I would believe it to be the same car since you can see the smoke damage on the firewall and aluminum pieces like the wiper motor before it goes to paint. It seems to be a true keeper.
WOW!!! one the best looking coupes ive seen!
1988 Honda Accord LX-i Coupe 123k miles.
Sorry, my English is not good to discuss.
But I will try to describe about that.
My 1st 88 coupe, is look like battery issue.
The car battery just start burning suddenly when driving on the highway
It is alarmed and panicky. Becuse the speed is 100KM/H at the time.
But lucky for me, there's one roadside rescue vehicle nearby and put out the fire for me immediately.
This 2nd 88 coupe blongs to the owner of the Garage.
He agree to sell me this car. So I transfer some parts of components from 1st car to 2nd and paint it.
You Sir have good taste in paint and style. the window deflector caught my eyes and made it look even more sexy and mean! i found a new background for my phone![]()
Prety nice, man. But let this be a lesson for all of us to carry fire extingwishers!
That is really nice.epic win on this one.

What did you do with those fog lights? Did you have them wired to an original foglight switch inside the car? If you still have the original switch and if those are original foglights I would be willing to purchase those off of you.
Your car looks great, and I am also a big fan of the window visors. Do you mind telling where you purchased those?

nice-I thought it was an japanese Import edition Coupe at first, but then i saw that it does not have leather-still awesome though
awesome! i love a turnaround / underdog story
I had a lot of picture about my car. But i can't port the picture or link in this place. Can someone teach me how to port those picture?
^ You have to have at least five posts to post pictures or links, which is why your first link didn't even go. Two more to go...
Wow! You're car is beautiful! It's so nice you were able to get another to restore after the first was lost.
