Thanks man. I love the steelies look. And yeah, the 86/87 grille kicks ass. Sooo smooth.

that's cool how the entrance to those 2nd story buildings work. never seen that before
Thats Montreal, man. Its pretymuch everywhere around here, and those houses are prety new as far as i can tell. Ill try parking on a street with a ton of older ones some time.

Yeah, the car is prety minty. Just needs a bumper up front, and a headlight bucket alignment (ehhh..) and then the courtesy lights in the front doors dont work. If all that's fixed, its pretymuch bran new.

    EDIT:
i have a few desctop backgrounds now.

Okay, tiny update.. and a question. I went to two honda dealers, and nither of them had Honda keys for our old cars. They didnt have ither the Valet or the master keys, and i realy would love to have them for this minty fresh accord.. So, im wondering if theres any honda dealerships who still have them? Or, where can i get some?

In other news, i took a few shots at like 3:30am again, near the olympic stadium.

What kind of key do you want?

They sell these plastic keys on Ebay and I know Honda de Sigi had Ilco Plastic Keys like 3 years ago.

    They're not labeled "HONDA" tough...

Yeah, i want the "HONDA" ones. My 87 has the Valet key, too, but i dont have a plastic covered one with HONDA on it for ither accord. It upsets me, a little. They dont seem to exsist anymore, though.

    Re: 1989 EX-i

It seems the next thing im gona have to deal with is my headlight bucket. I think its still a little messed up, but i dont know what's going on in there. I dont realy have
much knolege about how this is suposed to work, as i never delt with it on the 87, so im not sure where to start. Heres pics of the problem:

As far as i can tell, its actually the arm thats not working right. I cant see or feel the headlight catching on anything.

    Thanks, man.

The next pics will likely be of me troubleshooting the coolant issue. self-taught mechanic friend of mine says it could be the headgasket, cause theres coolant missing, but no leaks. That's gona suck sooo bad.

    Re: 1989 EX-i

LOL, i was gona paint it body color, including the black part. But, the 87 is gone now, so i cant use the metal part. Im gona go to pull a part in october and... pull a part. lol. Im gona be there a while, taking the trim from an 87, to match the rear bumper and front bumper.. and anything else that's cool. Ill post stuff up for people here, too, if i find something sweet.

    Re: 1989 EX-i

Mine isnt perfect, you should see the list of things to improove lol.

    Body work:
"Fix the over 9000 tiny little rust spots" (i think theres like 5 or 6)
Some-how pull the dents out of the rear doors
    re-paint the front right fender
get a new bumper, and a pre-facelift bumper cover
Get the stupid FR headlight bucket to sit right and work right...
To keep with the pre-facelift look, im gona swap out all the side trim aswell.
Also, who thinks the rear bumper lip looks stupid, when theres no front bumper lip? I stare at it sometimes like "Why would you do that?" lol.

    Matenence:
All liquids flush/change, and replace a few hoses
    FR upper balljoint
    RL Upper controll arm
    Alignment
Not sure where to put "Paint valve cover"

Thats pretymuch it. To acheive perfection my car must have all that done to it. Then, to make me happy it must be manual lol. That might be a while, though, as im prety sure the AT works fine.

Thanks for the comments guys! i was prety happy to have the opertuenity to take such awesome pictures for you gents!

    Re: 1989 EX-i

Lol. This car is addicting. It's sitting out front, and im wondering where i could drive to. Not for any reason, just cause i wana drive it. its nuts. Sadly i just realised because the driveway was re-paved, i cant park in it n do work. Not sure if ill be able to use it to do work at all.. I hope so. the job that makes the biggest mess is the coolant flush, and thats basically water and ..whatever coolant is. so, it shouldnt stain right? Anyway, i cant wait to get started.. all the body trim and bumpers will have to wait a while, cause im gona concentrate on the mechanicals, and keep the body work for maybe during the winter when i have a better job, and more cash, and alot less want to drive the car.

    Re: 1989 EX-i

Not sure about the coolant, cause there's also some lubricating fluid in it (and anti freeze).
Something lubricating will be oil I guess... But would be nice if anyone could confirm this since I'm not 100% sure :P
