Slowest project EVER!! Yay!! Also, 34 pics

So, I've had this car since October '09. Granted I didn't start working on it until the end of may really, but still... I'm taking my sweet ass time. Point of this thread: motivate me to hurry the hell up! I think I'll feel obliged to finish for you guys, and hopefully be able to give a little bit back to the community that has literally saved me thousands of dollars and hours of anger, in exchange for a little facepalming towards myself.

Basically, thanks 3geez, you've opened me up to the sometimes frustrating but always fun world of the 3rd generation Accord.

Edit: The white car, aka white lightning, was the car that got me through high school and is now serving as a parts car. It was a carbed 88. The black car is an 88 ex-i salvage vehicle with an 87 front end and a medley of other 3rd gen parts from different years.

Glad to hear 3geez has been able to help you out with your project, good luck with it. I know this site has helped me a lot over the past 6 years... Now, it may have created more headaches by getting me addicted to this stupid car, but hey, its all in good fun lol.

If you want to get rid of your window visors off of your parts car let me know. Also, what kind of condition is your front left fender on the parts car in? mine is rusted right on the middle of the fender well.

And as always glad to see another somewhat local member on here. I will keep you posted with any good pick n pull finds I see down here, let me know if you see anything good up your way too. I am in need of a rust free 86/87 sedan trunk lid with license plate garnish. I don't need taillights on the lid, and white is preffered, but I am not too picky at this point.

Hahah, the body on the parts car is actually pretty decent... except for the front left fender. Some guy in a riced out supra backed in to me in a lot and drove off. I get the glare from his bedazzled and sequinned ed hardy shirt stopped him from seeing one of the 20 cars in the mall lot.

Window visors I'm gonna throw on the black car, as well as all the glass because I don't wanna peel tint. If you want, though, I'll trade you that full set of those ugly 5 spoke wheels for a decent black 88-89 bumper. I'll keep my eye out for a trunk lid for you too.

And yeah, messy, everybody asks me why I spend the money on a shitbox over buying a decent car.

One more thing - My passenger side back seat foot well/floor fills with water every time it rains. I get a tiny bit in the front on the passenger side too. Probably a sunroof drain tube leak/clog, no?

^ I say no, because my car does this when I wash it, and I don't have a sunroof.
