Has it been done? By who? What 6 cylinder?
Has it been done? By who? What 6 cylinder?

there have been people that claimed that they had v6 3g's ..but when we asked to see pics they just dissapear ....
Jay
would the 6 from the 6th gen accord mount in? would be cool if it did... would be harder than an h22 swap(or at least as hard), and there is a lot less aftermarket
you could always chop up your body and put it on a frame with a big block... very possible, but forget handling... would take well over 10 grand to do, just in parts
it's like it says in the FAQ "you can put any engine into anything, as long as you have the money"
Derick
There was a guy on Ebay who put a V-8, either in a 3g or 4g I forget.
1988 Honda Accord LX-i
R.I.P. Died on 7/2/03......
it was a V8 in a 4g, but also know it was not a FWD after that, it was a RWD. when was the last time u pulled up to an accord and see the front wheels come off the ground when the light turned green. hehehehe, thats sick huh?. A 6th gen V6 wont fit in ur 3g besides, i would think one would be brain dead to even think of one cause can u get hold of a engine like that? :P
The one from the legend should be fitting in somewhat, but i dont know. I am interested in the 2.7L v6 from the legend, if it would ever fit.
I know dead, but who was it that did this? there was a picture posted on here in the past with a first gen legend v6 I believe. it actually fit. can anyone find that picture again?
these?
Yeah... it was one danish guye who did thet one...
Its prttey fnuny how you can raed tihs eintre snetnece with all tehse ellters out of palce...

Might as well get the B20 if it only puts out 161 horsepower
it doesn't have but 161 horsepower but it has a lot of torque. thats what is so hard to get in a honda. I'm not sure about the weight, but it being an all aluminum engine vs. the steel block on our engines, the weight penalty isn't that much.

so i dont remember if that was a 2.5 or 2.7, but it was one of those in that picture above. did they ever get that thing going or was it a lost cause? that would have been cool, but i havent heard anything about it in months.
Keep it HONDA. Or at least Asian.™

B18C swap ditched, A20 to be revived
Looking for K20/trans for ultimate swap
its not a bad engine but by the time you swap it in, then mess around with performance parts you would have been far ahead in the speed and wallet department with a turbo A20

i think that one's a c27a = 2.7. but there was a c25a as well. from what i hear, he got it to the point of completion and i think i heard it started, but it had to be smogged or something like that and wouldn't pass with that engine and the guy doesn't want to spend the trouble to swap it back to stock then back yet again. ask thegreatdane, he probably is the best source of info for this.Originally Posted by HondaBoy

2004-2011?
if we can put a b series in our cars, why dont we just boost the shit out of a b20? i mean Full-Race makes some serious turbo kits for the b series engine. check them out.
www.full-race.com
Whos got a boosted b20 in their 3gee?
cause we cant afford to
so thats it? so swapping in a b20 from a CR-V would be fun enough. But im a speed fuh-reak. and got the dough to boost one. could the chassis handle a boosted b20 though? like a abonoxious boost setup?Originally Posted by A18A

No way. Have any of you ever been in a 2.7 legend coupe? It's only when it reaches over 60mph that you can tell the difference between the easy-to-swap B20A and the C27A, which in the car I drove was 180HP
I do wonder about the turbo C20A though, 190HP
