I was at pullapart and they had several new 3g's Digging through I found a console with a cup holder and it worked, so I said cool. Turns out there must be different ones for different years and model of tranny too.

I could be wrong - but that looks like a 4G (90-93) cupholder.
It dosnt look anything like my console... Or the SE-i cup holders ive seen on here, ither. odd.
Those are 4th gen accord cup holders (90-93)
They could fit in our cars but with a lil mod...a member did this to his 3g and looked good and different
Someone must have been trying a mod of their own and that is how it ended up in there. oh, well. I figured I could unscrew the the tape holder part and put it in. Not. Way different after disassemble.
definitly a 4th gen cup holder ... i thought about trying it but ive never really had money to play with so i only buy something i know will work

shortram, msd blaster 2 coil, lowered 2.5" in the rear 3" in the front, stripped because race car XD
those cup holders are pretty rare to find, i got lucky the other day and found one laying in the backseat, then in another car i found the armrest, both need some work but fixable
