Do cat converters or test pipes from a 90 to 93 accord fit the 86 to 89 accord length and bolt pattern?

No, the cars are practically unrelated except the fact that they are both Accords.

K part two to the question then.. where can I get a test pipe for my 88 accord (not universal). I need a OEM type so I can do it myself without welding. Resonated is also needed.

You are going to have to find a local shop to build you a custom setup.

Someone told me today that if I were to convert my an auto transmission to 6-speed my car would automatically be given a salvage title? I had never heard of this before... Is it true?

True answer to that, someone does not want you to work on your car.

Budget? I'd grab an A18 block (250?), throw in some JY gsr pistons/rods(150?), diy port work on head, delta cam(80?), intake (20-30), header(100-200), h22 injectors(pocket them at jy), and integra gears(100?). If you're good, you can have a pretty peppy fun car for under a grand

What grade of oil should i use for the MANUAL tranny?

Any recommendations on brands you have experience with would be helpful as well.

They usually have gear oil that's the right oil weight, and should work right

re: Have a quick question? Ask it here!

Start off with one buy a month then. Get obx header first, then delta cam, next GSR pistons/rods next, a18 block then thrown pistons/rods in there. then exhaust last...

Just saw you're LX, so carbed. get weber instead CAI, and port your manifold too(cheap easy). Like i said header $100-200. cam (282 since carbed) ~$80. GSR pistons/rods (just checked my local jy prices, and piston/rod combo[each], are $15. so that times 4, would be $60). exhaust should be around $150-200, just go to some cheap ghetto muffler shop.

So in about 4-6 months, you can have a pretty quick car!!
