Is there a way to make the fuel/temp gauge electrical like the 86-87 models on the 88-89 accords? I kinda like that feature but also wouldn't mind downgrading to the earlier model's gauge if it cant be helped.

Time for a newbie question about seafoaming, with picture!

So, I think it's worth a shot and this is basically my first few weeks of looking under a hood ever, so I don't want to break something serious just from trying to seafoam the car. Can someone please verify in the pictures posted that this is indeed a brake booster vacuum hose acceptable to use for seafoam, and then if correct, which entry point should I use (I imagine #1, but better to be educated from those who know)?

    Thank you!

the brake booster hose is the big rubber hose going to the brake booster itself, it will be attached to the front of the booster, also go to the three geez wiki and download the service manual for free, then you can look at a diagram if you aren't sure

Please copy and paste the image link - I can't post an image or link until I have five posts.

This picture fits that description, I just prefer visual confirmation if at all possible. More specifically, there's a check valve involved too, right? So I assume I pull off the hose closest to the engine, prior to reaching the check valve for the brake booster, and poor it down into the hose towards the engine.

    Thanks for the help.

you don't have to pour it down the hose attach a piece of vacuum line right before the check valve and stick it in the bottle, it's a vacuum it will suck it out

Yes. If you must use Seafoam, that is the spot.

you must of wiki googad that one ...lol

amazing to think, only 55, it barely gets off the torque converter then, or a five speed fifth gear would last forever you'd never get to use it

Zoo I've been having some weird electrical problems again. The fuse in the under dash fuse box for the right low beam keeps blowing so I'm guessing there's a short somewhere but I haven't had time to look yet. I will today. The other thing is that my 3rd brake light went out and I don't even know where the signal wires to it even comes from. Let me know if you have any ideas

the brake light wire from the third brake light goes to the taillights, I think the left one, it goes to one of the bulb out sensors,as far as the headlight look at where it bends when the light opens and closes

This is the only one I caught. I think in history we were told that old maps of Greenland and Iceland were switched so pirates or somebody didn't go to Iceland (the nicer one).
