Wondering where to look for swaps and conversions on 99-00 accord wanting to know the complications and actualities of a chassi swap of a 99 accord to a 00 awd accord wagon from japan is it as simple as unplugging some wires and unbolting the body and dropping it on and if it is possible after doing so dropping the og 3.0 from the accord on to chassi of the wagons or a3.5
This forum is devoted to the 1st three generations of Honda Civics and Accords, the third generation being 1986- 1989. So, it's not best place for questions on later model Accords. I suggest you try Honda | Acura Research, Reviews, Performance Parts, Owners - Honda-Tech.com, or search for another forum.

What does "fuel cut" mean? For an example of usage of the term, see https://www.3geez.com/forum/3geez-acc...ive-speed.html

See this link for an extended discussion (What is Fuel Cut | DSMtuners), but I'd consider it code for "I'm going to blow my engine soon."

I have an 89 accord lx automatic. carburetor. Anyway everytims I start it it pretty much accelerates the Rpms while in any gear . There's no check engine line please help
There are many threads about this high rpm or engine rev carburated on here. most of them due to vacuum leaks. To check for vacuum leaks spray carb cleaner around the base of the carb to see if it revs higher, if it is your vacuum leak is there. Hoses will likely be bad where they connect and plug into another fitting or the carb. Good luck

Will the windshield from a 4 door 89 accord fit the hatchback of the same year?
They are all the same from 86 to 89 regardless of body style.

My 1985 honda accord LX burnt out the neutral safety switch as well as the whole area under the shifter....it got really hot and melted the plastic...it made the shifter unable to switch gears. I replaced the neutral safety switch and it still gets hot. does anyone know the problem?
I have a carbed A20, but I was wondering how to find out the exact motor I have.

i had a manageable issue with losing power after a cold start for 3 second sometime around when the thermostat opened. this issue was not a burden. then my fuel pump would sometimes work and sometimes not, so i replaced the fuel pump relay and the car started and runs fine until you brake to a stop or turn left. then it dies in drive.

Try replacing the ignition switch the small wire harness connected to lock cylinder
thanks shane that was a really fast reply! i did an edit though as i am new to the game
any idea what would cause a loss in power sometime around when my thermostat opens up, i get a light on the dash after the loss and then it used to run fine?

If it's completely removable it's part of the AC and not necessary. This is because AC was actually a dealer add-on for some models.
